TessaJade1212 8 Posted November 2, 2012 Hi everyone my name is Tessa I am 26, a mom to 2 handsome little boys and a Army wife currently stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany! I started my lapband journey 9 months ago on January 31, 2012. I am down 90 pounds and only 8 pounds away from my goal weight, 5 pant sizes, 1 shoe size, 4 bra sizes, and 3 ring sizes and couldn't be happier! It hasn't been easy by any means, I exercise everyday and recently have disovered that I love to run, I ran my first 5k October 13th to support breast cancer. I think my biggest challenges have been figuring out what foods I can now tolerate, and discovered bread is definentely a no go! With being a part of this awesome group I hope to gain a lot of knowledge on being able to maintain my weight and be a positive mentor to people looking to have the surgery done, because I would not have changed the decision I made for the world 5 ♕ajtexas♕, Mel32, Kinley7390 and 2 others reacted to this

marfar7 1,533 Posted November 3, 2012 You're staying away from the German brotchen? Good girl! I served in Germany in 1997-2000 (near Wurzburg) and have been to K - Town. Enjoy your time in Europe. You'll always want to go back once you're gone! Congrats on the loss! WTG! Marci Oh, and the German bread, yogurt, and the donor kebabs (those little devilish Turkish sandwiches) were all to die for! 1 TessaJade1212 reacted to this
