MiniMi 1,468 Posted November 2, 2012 I was banded on 10/5. Up till now everything has been going really smooth. Since yesterday I have been really tired, like fall asleep at my desk tired, and I don't know why. The only thing I have changed is I added B- complex, Iron, and Biotin to my Vitamin regiment. I also take multi, b-12, cq10, d, Calcium. Can my Vitamins be the problem or could I be dehydrated? I get about 6 glasses a day + morning and evening herbal tea. Getting about 70 gr Protein a day. Calories are around 600-700 a day. Oh, and I'm on the last day of my cycle.
Jenilou78 31 Posted November 2, 2012 700 calories seems extremely low, if your Dr is telling you to follow a 700 cal diet you may want to talk to him about increasing that to maybe 1000-1200, theres a certain amount you need for nutritional value, that may be catching up to you. I also am extremely tired but 9 days post op and went back to a really physical and high-stress job on my feet for 7 hours, probably should be taking it a little easier good luck, hope it passes quickly! My dr doesn't really have a calorie amount to follow just a recommended size/ portion per meal. I think I am going to increase it but I'm still on soft foods so its hard to get more in. CHEZNOEL 4,061 Posted November 3, 2012 Keep the smaller meals, maybe add in another one. I am sure the cycle did not help. 1 Jenilou78 reacted to this
SueBee01 630 Posted November 3, 2012 I think it is just catching up with you. I did not feel totally like myself until about six weeks out. I don't think the calorie intake is a problem. My doctor says the same thing. God know there is still enough fuel (fat) in my body even after losing 127 pounds. I am still at 500-600 calories a day and feel great. Do you have sleep apnea? I think you still need some rest and need to recuperate. Call your doctor if you don't get over it soon. I slept a lot the first month.
