Today I Had To Get Have Of My Fill Taken Out. Does A Cold Affect Your Fill?

I wonder if my stomach was irritated because of my cold because I got my fill on the 18th and I've just started having problems about a week ago. I've been eating Soup and Protein Shakes for the last week:) until today when they took some out.

Yes a cold can make your band tight. When your sinuses drain, they drain into your stomach and irritate your band.

I thought so! I knew I wasn't crazy! Because before I was eating solids with no problem. I'm mad I had to get a unfill but I couldn't breathe or eat anything:(

I got an unfill last week cause of sinuses drainage. So i understand. Once the sinuses clear up just go back for a fill. Part of the maintenance thing.

Ok, when did you eat after your unfill and what did you eat? Mushies? That's what I'm thinking. They didn't give any special instructions. I know after a fill its liquids for two days, then third day mushies, fourth day solids.

Its not as bad as a fill. I did mushies for 1 day then regular foods.
