Are you loosing weight? Do you eat 1 cup or less ar each meal? Are you hungry between meals?

If the answers are yes, yes, no then I say you don't need a fill.

I would rather be too loose than too tight. But that's just me.

Well I can tell I don't have the restriction I had before I had the un-fill if that makes sense i did for the first two days after the un-fill but still can only eat 1cup of food maybe a bit more but I do feel hungry more , and going through that experience before the unfill I'm like you I would rather be to loose then to tight cuz that was not fun ; on my weight loss I've loss 10lbs since surgery but I have lost since the unfill :/ so I'm just confused and don't know what to do

Sounds like you might need a small fill. My fills now are .2cc, its amazing how such a little bit can make a big difference. I would talk with your doctor about it.

I struggle with this also. Had 3cc at the time of surgery May 24th then had 1 cc two months ago. Would like to get another ½ cc but I still get stuck sometimes (because I do not chew enough). I am at a standstill losing weight, have not lost any in 3 weeks. So do I take the chance on getting more fill, I think I am in the bandster hell I keep hearing about. Sigh

Getting stuck from not chewing enough.... That will always happen, lol. If you are not loosing and you are getting hungry more often, then you probably need a fill. It doesn't have to be a full cc or even half, like i said I got 2/10cc last fill. Talk with your doc.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
