1st fill. Do I have a problem?

I had my 1st fill at about 6 weeks after surgery. Before, when I was laying down, I could feel the port below my main stitch line. I was pretty much over being sore and haven't tried to feel the port for a while. Now, I can feel the port even while standing and it is above the stitch line and feels harder. It is also sore again. Not overly painful, just like it was after the stitches the outside stitches healed. I notice it if I brush up against it and sometimes it burns a little. Is this normal? I have lost 10 lbs in the past month, maybe it's just closer to the surface?

You just had your fill a couple of days ago, right? It may still be sensitive after being poked at, and I guess it's also possible it was nudged into a slightly new position somehow. And weight loss will indeed change our perception of it sometimes, as well. It's definitely more noticeable now for me then it was 50 lbs ago!

Keep an eye on it and if it keeps feeling weird you might want to call your doctor. But my guess is that you'll stop noticing it in a couple of days.
