Is It Normal For Stomach To Be So Swollen?

SURGery on Thursday. TOOk a pic and then another one today and wow you can totally see the difference on how swollen! I guess this is normal?

mine was (remember they put gas into your tummy to blow it up to do the surgery..

it's gotta come out worwork its way out......congrats on surgery

Ok, Thank You. I just figured it would be swollen on First day then get better. But its opposite. I put ice on it. Thank You !

Kitty,

Expect to be swollen for awhile, don't get scared its very normal. Everyone heals differently, and so our bodies changes are different too. I was swollen for many weeks, and bloated as well. You are looking quite normal, LOL

It does get better, hang in there chick...

Its amazing how different our incisions look..I have 6 and am concerned as to why? and my port is on my right side..it also took over an hour for my surgery which makes me wonder what was going on or if they were teaching someone..ugh.

My port is on the right side as well I have 5 incisions but slightly differently placed. Oh well there seems to be many many differences in the pre-op and post op as well. so I guess the incisions are just another variable.
