willowbas 0 Posted April 2, 2006 Hi to everyone! I successfully had my band surgery on March 27 in PV. I went into surgery at 1 p.m. and was walking and nibbling ice chips by 6 p.m. I was back on the beach by 1 p.m. the following day, having a manicure and pedicure by 2:30, and sipping Soup by 5:00. The next day I was in Dallas shopping at the Galleria! I met a nice man whose wife had been banded and lost 100 lbs but is having to have it removed due to a port infection. I'm five days out and down 10 lbs since Monday. Today I attended a birthday party for my 6 yo niece and everyone was shocked that I was up and around with hair and makeup done! As if!!!!!!!!!!!!!
