hopeful2 be slim 121 Posted October 26, 2012 I am doing all the right things, have good restriction, but I am at a platue. I am not loosing weight. i am thinking of going on a semi liquid diet of Soups and juice for 4,5 days. will it help?
TKW 501 Posted October 26, 2012 I started out at 432 pounds. I lost pretty steady till I got to 301.4. I was at that weight for weeks. It drove me nuts cuz I really wanted to see that 200. Went to see my Dr. We decided I didn't need a fill, my eating was good. Went to see the nutritionist and she thought my eating and exercise was great. She suggested strength training. I started going to a Body Pump class at the gym and with in a week I broke that DAMN 300 mark. Try changing up your exercise with strength training and I would highly recommend "Body Pump" if you can find a class. It is very doable for anyone.
Kinley7390 80 Posted October 26, 2012 I was on a plateau for almost 4 weeks! Today is the first day it broke, finally, and I lost two pounds. How long have you been on this plateau? I imagine the liquid diet would help jump start the weight loss again, but maybe you'll hear from someone who has done it, b/c I have not done that personally. Good luck! 2muchfun 8,927 Posted October 26, 2012 Please fill in your profile so we have more information to advise you better? It's hard to advise with so little information? Are you pre-op, post-op, 1 month out, 6 months out, how long at a plateau?? tmf

2muchfun 8,927 Posted October 27, 2012 Sit down with the Dr's nutritionist and he/she can help you find your weak spot. I did back in March and it made all the difference. In a one on one interview they can ask the proper questions, evaluate and make recommendations. Fees are usually not all that much. tmf
sylviau 125 Posted October 27, 2012 I was on a plateau for a couple of weeks. My eating was ok an ur I hadn't gone to Zumba like I had te previous month or so. So this week I started doing Zumba again and went down 3 pounds! Maybe u need to add some exercise or modify/intensify the exercise u r doing now? Ur body might have gotten used to what ur doing so u have to give it soemthig to work on
