Secondchanceatlife 38 Posted October 25, 2012 I am 4 1/2 months post op, and just started working out a few weeks ago. Since then my weight has fluctuated a pound or two, but has pretty much stayed the same, which is frustrating! Has anyone else went through this? Or did the weight just start dropping off? TKW 501 Posted October 25, 2012 Exercise made a world of difference with my weight loss. Keep it up, you will see progress. Exercise is a very important factor in this whole band/weightloss journey!
Mom2many 33 Posted October 25, 2012 I started today. Was banded march 20. I'm hoping this jump starts things as my weight loss has recently stalled. Have lost 60# so far.
honk 780 Posted October 26, 2012 I really hate the myth that the weight just "falls off". For me every pound has tried to stick around like it is super glued on. Keep in mind I eat very conservatively and do 2-2.5 hours of cardio daily (yes 7 days a week). One thing to keep in mind is as you exercise you will build muscle. So even as you loose fat if you gain muscle the scale won't move.
