Jlynn217 54 Posted October 25, 2012 I tried goo gone and orange furniture polish and vinegar And I still have the outline in gunk of my steri strips the stitches themselves not to mention my tubbiness and stretch marks are enough without leftover gunk. Any tips on how to get this off? 1 DBRN1972 reacted to this
ginadon 17 Posted October 25, 2012 I had the goo on for quite awhile too! I found that after showering I rubbed baby oil on it and scrubbed with a wash cloth it came off after a couple days!
LissaH 1 Posted October 25, 2012 I used rubbing alcohol and it came right off. Be mindful not to rub it directly on your incisions.
Rojasanoll 920 Posted October 25, 2012 baby oil seems to sofen it up and it eventually wears off.
SkoreAfattY 3 Posted October 25, 2012 A hot mess. And I'm still puzzled why they even bothered with the glue anyways.

Any tips on how to get this off? Some drugstores sell adhesive remover. If you can't find it your doctor may have some. It comes in the little packs like the alcohol pads. sleepysnr 1 Posted October 25, 2012 I used dial soap and rubbed in a circular motion with a face brush. It took a couple times but it works.
megamomnj 334 Posted October 25, 2012 Try Vaseline and a wet washcloth. Always works with my kids when they take off a band-aid and half the dirt from the backyard is stuck to them!
Alli in StL 23 Posted October 26, 2012 I second the alcohol suggestion. It worked instantly for me.
