Locon 4 Posted October 24, 2012 OMG, this is killing me. I am 2 weeks pre surgery. So when this happens to you, do you spit it out or swallow it?

♕ajtexas♕ 3,771 Posted October 24, 2012 OMG' date=' this is killing me. I am 2 weeks pre surgery. So when this happens to you, do you spit it out or swallow it?[/quote'] You spit it out. If food gets stuck in your pouch then your body makes lots of saliva, well its really slim, to help push the food through the bsnd. The food either goes down or up. If it goes up you burp and presto there's your food. You do get a warning, your mouth fills up with saliva. This is why we preach small bites, chew to mush and don't eat to fast. Oh and drinking makes it worse! Hope this helps.

♕ajtexas♕ 3,771 Posted October 24, 2012 oyoyoy.....what am I getting myself into?????????? Thanks for the responses. It's not that bad. And it is preventable, follow the band rules and you will see success. The band changed my life. I love my band with all the quirky things it does. 1 Maddysgram reacted to this
