hopeful2 be slim 121 Posted October 24, 2012 HI, I AM NOT LOOSING WEIGHT, BUT PUTTING ON...SO I THOUGHT OF GOING ON A liquid DIET FOR 3 DAYS. WILL IT HELP... ANY SUGGESTIONS?
Jean McMillan 2,973 Posted October 24, 2012 I don't know enough about you, your eating (food choices, amounts, frequency), exercise, and fill history to give you suggestions. Are you talking about a weight loss plateau, and if so, how long has it lasted? Have you discussed this with your surgeon and/or dietitian? Do you feel that you have optimal restriction? Do you think you need a fill? Etc, etc, etc... Three days of a liquid diet might help knock off a pound or two, but it's not a longterm solution. 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and ♕ajtexas♕ reacted to this
kyrasgrandma 228 Posted October 24, 2012 We need more info. When were you banded? What stage of pre op are you at? If you are eating properly and gaining then I would call my dr. and discuss it with him. Also are you watching your sodium intake? 1 ♕ajtexas♕ reacted to this
hopeful2 be slim 121 Posted October 24, 2012 I was banded on 15th march 2011...i lost wt only in the first month. my weight earlier was 92.5 kg...i came down to 85 kg. then I had liposuction for thighs and hips and came down to 81kg...but now I am putting on wt.gone to 83 kg. I am eating Proteins, have Water, but my exercise is not much...due to arthritis my movements are slow.I am mostly a vegetarian so sometimes Protein is less. asquill17 72 Posted October 24, 2012 I would recommend counting or tracking your calories.. Don't forget the calories you might drink. Myfitnesspal is perfect for this. See if that doesn't help! I would aim for 1000-1200 calories a day with a sedentary lifestyle. 1 ♕ajtexas♕ reacted to this

Jean McMillan 2,973 Posted October 24, 2012 What does your bariatric surgeon have to say about your disappointing weight loss?
hopeful2 be slim 121 Posted October 25, 2012 In india lap band is not so successful because our diet is very low in Proteins. we dont get good options for non veg also.i have had 2 fills and dont feel very hungry. but now my body has got used to the 1200 cal diet .so I thought of going on a liquid diet for few days. I am going to Melbourne on 1st.I do want to loose few kgs.
