Hi Jersey Girls, I am PattiU. I am waiting for my lapband from Dr. O. in Egg Harbor Twp, N.J. I live in Smithville, in Galloway Twp. How bad does it hurt comming out of the surgery? I am gonna go to the support group all the time too. It's sad to hear that people have problems and sometimes don't loose the weight. My daughter had the bypass 3 years ago, she lost alot of weight but seems to be in some sort of pain all the time. well hope to hear from you all. Patti

Hi Patti - welcome to the Jersey Chat! We're actually in the May Chat now, so you may want to post a new reply over there. The surgery recovery isn't too bad. Some people bounce back right away and are shopping within a few days and some people need 2 or 3 weeks before feeling 100%. Good luck to you and your daughter.
