Darcy, your hair sounds darling. I had mine highlighted for a few years but the up keep was a pain plus the $.. The salon would charge me $130.00 per visit... to much for my blood ya know, BUT it was fun to be blond... it gave me a way out of being the knucklehead that I am.. i could say i was having a blond moment LOL !!! I'm so glad that you're back with us Eileen. I missed your sense of humor. You ALWAYS say something to make me laugh.

We went shopping today and finished paying bills too. I don't know how God does it, but He never ceases to amaze me. We had enough to pay the van payment, the car insurance payment, and the electric bill too. Plus enough to put gas in the van and buy groceries, with $5 left over. Amazing.

Don just went to pick up his very last check a few minutes ago, and that money will be banked for the next round of bills/groceries/gas.

He also sent another resume today, so he is at least trying now, and looking everyday now too. I gotta keep my eyes on that boy though, lemme tell ya. I was about ready to smack him up along side the head and knock a little common sense into him. LOL

I'm not quite sure what's up with this goofy Michigan weather here. It was in the 50s yesterday and absolutely beautiful. I worked out in the greenhouse for the first half of my night at work, and it was wonderful. Now it's snowing outside and only in the 30s today. I sure wish it'd make it's stupid mind up and decide what it wants to do out there. Spring WOULD be nice. LOL

Well ladies I'm gonna scoot. Gotta be to work in a just under 2 hours, so I'm gonna enjoy somemore time with my Dilly Doodles before I go.

Well I have been just calling all over the place today and getting all my ducks in a Row as to big D. Other than that going to go do a little shopping tonight for the Easter Exchange. The boys are doing really good I think that I will take them to see Ice Age #2 on Sat afternoon or Sunday. Not sure yet but everyday just sitting beside them or talking to them is the best time for me.

Howdy girls! I'm sitting in the middle of a madhouse. DH and I took the kids to Fantasy Forest. It's like a huge McDonald's playland without the mcnuggets. It is complete chaos in here, but they have a wireless connection so it ain't all bad.

Eilene, I just sprayed lemonade out my nose when I read the line about the boss being away being better than taking a dump. LMAO!! Who are you having for Easter dinner? Whatcha making? My idea of "deep cleaning" is chiseling the sticky stuff off of the toys.

Donna, have a great trip to NY!! Sounds like you have a good time planned.

Darcy, I'll bet the highlights look great! I stopped highlighting my hair blonde about 6 months ago and I'm a brunette for the first time in my adult life. Now the carpet matches the drapes if ya know what I mean.

Sherry, my DH does computer stuff too. Where does your DH work? My DH has a cave/office in the basement, but we let him come upstairs for dinner sometimes.

Easter dinner ahhhhhhhhh I can taste it now. I'm making a delicious honey baked spiral ham, mashed taters, this veggies casserole dish, mushroom gravy, and I'm buying the dessert...not sure yet. I will most likely make spinach dip for picking on b/4 dinner. So in short... nothing healthy. My sister and her kids, mom, and some friends are coming for dinner.

Easter dinner is at my mom's house; I'm bringing the potato salad. Here's what I'm making for my Easter Egg Hunt/Brunch on the 15th:

potato, sausage, pepper egg casserole

ham and cheese egg casserole

french toast sticks

sausage patties

grapes, bananas, pineapple, strawberries, etc

muffins (huge ones from Costco)

sour cream coffee cake (yummmmmmm)

blueberry coffee cake

Sounds so good. Too bad I'll be too busy to eat any of it, but I'm sure my guests will love it.

Cookin? me....mua?...cook? Oh my do you want to live? hee hee just kidding but, kinda sorta not really hahaha. I can cook when I have to but, hubby really likes to cook. I'm more of a baker and since I'm not suppose to eat that stuff I haven't baked in sooooooo long I believe we're having turkey for Easter cause me and pig products lol aren't getting along. EVERY time I eat pork it gets stuck so ham is pig too and I don't wanna try it yet lol.

Just came back from going out to eat. I'm always so afraid to eat out now. They didn't have Soup I liked and sometimes salad just isn't appealing so of course I had the next diet choice. Nachos and chicken wings. Oh yea..can you say...YOU NEED A FILL! lol I did well, I didn't finish them but, I still should of figured something else out. I just get so dang tired of the same old things. Could of pick something worse too I'm sure.

Ann - my hubby has an office in our home as his home base but, he just recently hooked up with friends that have a business in a town not far from here and he has an office there. They are called Home Genius...they do home entertainment centers, home theaters, cabinets and central entertainment (whole house CD players, speakers, computers)etc. The newest trend is running everything in your home from a central computer. Hubby is learning about that so he can train the home owner and so they can repair them and set them up. He also works on business networks and he started a maintenance plan with clients where he VPNs in at night and debugs, cleans, checks for spyware and viruses while the clients businesses are closed. He does that from out couch while we watch American Idol or some other show and still gets to charge them for it. It helps the businesses run smoothly and they don't lose time because he does it while they are closed for business. It's pretty neat but, I don't know how it all works lol. I just say HOOONNNNNNNNEY my stupid computer is running slow and he fixes it lol.

Well....I tried on a few shirts that I had bought about a year ago. You know the story, I bought my size but they run small so I couldn't wear them and didn't bring them back. YEap they still have the tags on em. Well..they fit now but, they're clinging to my spare tire a little more than I want. I could truly get away with wearing them but, I think I'll wait until the tire starts a slow leak and gets flatter ssssssssssssss hahaha

TGIF, home, comfy, going to watch America's Funniest Videos tonight. I can use a good laugh I'm going to get my hair done tomorrow. I'm so stinkin boring. I wish I could come up with something different to do with it but, I end up just doing the same thing. BOOOOOOOOOOOOORING. I'll try to scan a pic or two and post the wedding pics if I can.

Dannnnnnng my skanner isn't working right and even hubby got mad with it. Time to shut it down and put it to rest for a day or two. Hopefully I'll be able to scan some soon. In the meantime I changed my avatar to a pic of me. Now I took that a few years ago...probably about 25 pounds ago but, I'm on my way there again. And to think I thought I was huge then. oh my. Anywho....I'll keep trying. It's not 12:16 am..what the heck am I doing up? Hmmm maybe cause hubby is snoooooooooring so loud I'm trying to get exhausted before I hit the sack hahaha.

Sherry, I love your avitar. Its about time you let folks see how pretty you are. Congrats on the looser shirts. I have the same problem, my spare tire makes everything fit so weird. Well we'll get there won't we. Wings and nacho's mmmmmmm glad you enjoyed them. Thats the very reason I got the band and not bypass was b/c I wanted to be able to enjoy EVERYTHING but not alot of it. I cant imagine not being able to taste food of any sort.

Its gloomy out today so its perfect for getting my cleaning done. Tonight we're going to watch The Lion, Witch & Wardrobe...can't wait.

You know I have the movie The Passion and I still have not seen it. I bought it when it came out 2 years ago but I'm so afraid to watch it. From all that I heard it is really brutal and I just can't stomach to see how Christ was really beaten and abused. It just breaks my heart and makes me sick. I'm going to try to watch it because I think I really need it. My relationship with the Lord is lacking these days. I do pray, I do believe with all my heart, its just that I need to be closer if you know what I mean. Okay....off soap box.

I'm still on liquids but I think tonight I'll have some thick soup/mushy food. Not only is my belly growling but my intestins are starting to sing along with it.

Hey Eileen, Funny...we're going to be watching the same movie tonight! We just bought Narnia the other day and thought we'd save it for Saturday night with our son Hmmm I wish I could eat popcorn but, I'm afraid. I guess I'll have to work on some Soy chips....actually the barbeque ones are quite good and crunchy. Then I'll be getting some Protein as well...yea yea...that's what I'll do hhahaha.

I have to run and get ready to have my hair done...then off to the shoe store to return workboots I bought for my son...because GOD FORBID I bought the wrong brand. UGH. Then going to battle with Verizon for new phones. They called me on the phone to renew my plan, I told them I needed new phones and was told I couldn't until late April. The lady on the phone said I could if I renewed and i'd get something in the mail but of course didn't. If they even tell me I can't get new phones until 2 aprils from now I'll go ballistic...hopefully I'm worrying for nothing BUT, we'll see lol Have a great day!

Anne - Your brunch sounds great! I like wine too! The new boss seems nice, I haven't had to talk to him much yet, they have been having so many meeting to get him involved, and then a big lunch at work. I think he'll be alright though.

Mary - I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. Try to get all the things you will need because you will have the boys to take care of and he won't have anyone, so he can replace what he needs. It's tough enough just trying to raise young kids by yourself without worrying about buying things to do it with. Hugs!

Kelly - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that DH finds another job. Sometimes they just get too comfortable when we work and they don't have to worry so much. Good Luck!

Well, I know I probably missed a lot of you or subjects, but I really need to go visit the board and see what I have missed it has been so long since I posted.

I am planning a B-day party for DH next Saturday, his b-day is actually Sunday, but don't want to do it on Easter. So, I'll probably have some leftovers for Sunday, or next week. Maybe I'll just come to y'all's house and eat all that good food you're talking about! Hmmmmmmmm ya got something good to drink too? :D

Good Afternoon,

I forgot to sleep in and hit the garage sales before breakfast! Today is my Garretts 11th Birthday and I called him as soon as I got up. I sang to him and he giggled. I got him all the things he put on his list and he asked that I make Funnel Cake for him when he returns to me tomorrow.

After my sales I went to Walmart...... that place is crazy, which I knew it would be for a Saturday. I found a movie that I'm saving for my "at home post op days" and picked up that trusty heating pad. I bought a book, came home ate lunch and fell asleep. The ringing phone woke me up..... and now I'm all groggy and spacey.

Dear Mom Eileen: For sale one stupid train.... it's in the closet, help yourself. And the meds are AWESOME I can finally take a breath -- me like them alot!

Dear Cindy: I'm SO jealous.... a size 20/18 huh? I can only dream! Congrats.

Dear Sherry: You're SO pretty!

OK and all of you who are talking about Easter dinner -- quit it! You all just reminded me that I have to make something this year cause I forgot that I have all the kids! :hungry: OK, I need to regroup and devise a plan.... Shall I order a small ham and bacon wrap the asapargus? potato flakes or real? Lewis likes rice. What about ordering one of those boxed meals at Vons? I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT EASTER....it is April 16th,right... whew, I still have week. Thank God I'm on Spring Break!

Hey Patty, My dinners gonna be easy peasy. If your having ham, throw in some baked taters and make a veggie ( I use frozen ). Buy a dessert and viola .. no standing in the kitchen all day. You can even buy pre-made mashed taters if you want.

Sherry! Look at your new avatar! HOT MAMA!! WOO HOO!! How cute are you!?!? The fill worked GREAT - for about 3-4 days. *sigh* But at least now I know what restriction is GOING to be. I am scheduled for another fill on the 18th of this month. Yippee! And I don't care how long we fish, so long as I have my trusty Trashy Book.

Darcy - I hope you are having the most fabulous time at your Quilter's Convention. I love all that crafty stuff. I just don't make the time for it very often. I haven't quilted in a very long time. So, do we get a picture of the new hair, or what? :]

Kelly - slow & steady wins the race... And how cool is it that you can practise your Tai Kwon Do at work as a Stress reliever. I could any old thing after I got my first fill - but I wasn't COMPELLED to eat. Do you know what I mean? I thought it was perfect - because I could eat whatever I wanted - but if I didn't eat a lot, I didn't suffer from hunger.

Eileenie - I think it was some sort of cosmic "crappy" energy in the universe this last week. I wanted to hide, too! So glad I am on my way North tomorrow. See you for lunch on Tuesday! (Or are we doing dinner? Either works for me!)

But, the low carb thing is working - and the scale is moving at a decent rate. Yee Haw! Hope you have/had a fab visit with the family. Betty - I have missed reading about your whirlwind of activity. I hope you get more time to check in, soon. Heck, I hope I get more time... Hugs! I'll have you know that I was doing my Taxes today. YUCK! And would't you know I ow the IRS some money... GRRRRR.

My company "Helps" us out by splitting our bonus checks out from our regular pay - so the taxes are lower. Now, I have to pay... I am going to have to file a new W-4 form. I owe a lot. ICK!

Well, let's see... what is new. I have lost a few lbs... My lowest weight to date is 318 - but it's not about Portion Control or exercise right now - it's about low carb dieting. I eat almost none - as few as a human can get in the daily course of events - and I lose steadily. It's a good thing.

I hop a plane for NY tomorrow - or rather, today - and I will be up North again for the next week. That means that I should be able to spend a little more time on LBT next week. Yay!

Well, I have to go sleep now - or I won't have time to pack in the morning! Thank goodness that by now, I have most of my stuff in a travel-ready state at all times. All I have to do is pair some socks... and throw the stuff into a suitcase.

Good Morning,

Its a beautiful sunny day, cold but sunny nonetheless Just having blue skys really helps me with my depression (I have seasonal depression SAD). I don't take any thing for it, I've learned how to deal with it now that I know what it is. TOM is coming and boy am I nasty today. Poor DH, he can't even look at me HAAAAAAAA !!!

We watched Narnia last night (the lion witch & wardrobe), Now I can see why it relates to christianity. GOOD MOVIE !!

Since I had the fill friday my doc said I shouldn't eat unti monday... ummm okay. I ate yesterday and ate good I feel no difference with this fill. It was only .25 but maybe it just needs time to kick in. I ate a good plate of salad last night w/ckn breast. Finished it all. Well okay, I left some of the greens that looked like it came from my back yard but thats it. It had a yummy sesame / mango dressing on it and boy, if no one was around I would have licked the plate LOL.

Beanie, lunch would be wonderful and better for me because now that DD is in a REAL day care I can't let her sit there to long with out them charging me up the ying yang. Good going on the Weight Loss !!!! hey no matter how your doing it, your doing it YAHOOO!!!! No nacho's for us on tuesday and thats okay w/me.

I have a ton of laundry to fold and more cleaning but that it for today, I'm making some Ziti for the weeks dinner and I'm making myself scads of veggies, including acorn squash *slurp*
