Butterflybaby 26 Posted December 23, 2012 As far as telling people...my immediate family knows' date=' because I need them for support. Everyone else I'm telling I had a hernia repaired, which is technically true and accounts for the belly tenderness.[/quote'] That's what I've been saying too. Feb 11 Posted December 23, 2012 The entire time I was on my semi liquid diet I was never starving or really hungry today I have been hungry and I mean real hunger almost all day!!! Not sure why? And guidance would be helpful. 3rd day post op. Current pre-op wt 344 down 335.9 maybe it's because your swelling has gone down! That's a good sign.

Not sure why? And guidance would be helpful. 3rd day post op. Current pre-op wt 344 down 335.9 That's around the time I began to get hungry too. I think because your body had to adjust from surgery and your stomach has to adjust to the band, your appetite was confused. I am four days post op and my appetite is slowly starting to come around. 1 Angelizz10 reacted to this

Feb 11 Posted December 24, 2012 Today I was starving too. Post op day 4. I actually had some cottage cheese and later, Peanut Butter to take the edge off. Seemed to go down easily... 1 kazjim98 reacted to this

Feb 11 Posted December 24, 2012 Since this is my second time around, I know a few things. Tastes will definitely change- a weird side effect of the band. Today I tried some lox (smoked salmon) which I usually love, and basically had to force myself to swallow it. So salty!! And tonight I had some Peanut Butter for Protein and didn't enjoy it the way I used to. I don't know why our tastes change, but they do... 2 Angelizz10 and kazjim98 reacted to this
