mike65 47 Posted December 4, 2012 Just joined last week. Surgery is Dec. 11 One week to go and a little spooked. Pre-op diet has been a bit of a struggle as I have had the worst craving for Peanut Butter.< /p> 2 Banjo257 and kazjim98 reacted to this
mike65 47 Posted December 4, 2012 No, I haven't read the book. I am going to a reputable surgeon with a highly respected weight loss clinic. I chose Lapband after consultations with the Bariatric surgeon as well as my Gastroenterologist. Neither recommends RNY or vertical sleeve because of other issues I have. I understand that there could be serious consequenses but in my case, the benefits outweigh the risks. Thanks.
shrinkingcassie 37 Posted December 4, 2012 I'm happy to report that surgery went very well. I went into surgery at 9. Woke up around 10:30 from anesthesia and left to go home at 12. I've been able to lay in my bed on either side and sleep for and hour and a half at a time. I've been walking around a lot in between naps. I have no gas pains. My pain in my stomach just feels like I did a bunch of sit-ups. I'm also tolerating drinking fluids well and have had nausea. I hope the rest of the day continues this well. I have no regrets! 4 Jbowen1117, Ms.Millie, Banjo257 and 1 other reacted to this
