Blogging :)

Recommended Posts

So I have noticed that a lot of you are posting YouTube Videos of your experience. I am not at all comfortable posting videos of myself I have decided to post a new blog on my blog site. I will be posting about my experience with the lap band and also with the research study I am apart of that goes with this surgery.

Here is the link to my blog: My surgery is not scheduled until October 30 but I have posted about my process with getting my surgery approved and with the research Study.

I've found that blogging really helps me feel accountable for what I'm doing. I saw the You Tube videos of others and felt inspired but wasn't brave enough to video myself. I post on blogspot too but then copy and paste to my blog on here. Feel free to check mine out as well http://www.amandasramble.blogspot.com

Good luck!

I have my blog on here. If you add me as a friend you should be able to view it straight from my profile! I have it set to friends only so I don't get views from non LBT members.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
