rcboyd713 0 Posted October 21, 2012 Not sure if I'm in the right area or not so sorry if I should be posting this somewhere else! I am a 26 year old mother of 3 and married. I've been thinking about lap band for over a year now. I went through the insurance process last year with my old insurance company, but ended up moving and life got ahead of me and I didn't go through with it. Now that I'm married and settled, I want to do it more the. Ever. I have tricare prime north region. If anyone has any info on their process it's appreciated!!!thanks!! I am self pay from Canada. I prob could have gone through insurance but the wait list is unreal. My bmi is lower so I could have Been waiting for four years or more. Last year in our city of 1000000 insurance covered 50 surgeries:( after this last year of research, talking with my dr, and my surgeon, etc when I finally decided to book a date they had me in in a month!
