this is where you tacker is really going to pay off. You can have what you want just count it and be sure it will not get stuck.

I am looking now for low cal recieps for my favorite I know a plan is what helps me stay within the limits and if I go over a bit the tracker will help me not kick myself.

each meal is a restart and

"no meal tastes as good as skinny feels" these two saying I keep with me specially when faced with and "I want"

hope this helps someone.

There should be a "Holiday Survival" thread we can refer to during those days :)

My must-do is to not have left-overs in the house, once the HoliDAY is over no more such food around me, I don't want to make it a HoliWEEK!

Sissy12,

I agree, there ought to be a "Holiday Survivor" thread! I'm a sweets person, and from Halloween to Easter is my bad time. I'm pretty sure I can handle it, but it sure would be nice to vent to people who understand, and share holiday food alternatives with.

Hello my friends well the first big holiday Is almost here and I find myself not dreading it. If u all haven't seen yet I made it to my first goal from 320 to 270 and my next is 240. I haven't weighed 270 in about 9 years and WHEN I get to 240 that's only 20 pounds heavier than I weighed when I graduated high school yaaaaaa for me keep your heads up and plug through these holidays ???€

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
