ktsped 42 Posted October 17, 2012 Hi Everyone... I had my surgery on April 16, 2012. I am down 37 pounds. On Wednesday October 10th I had another fill...this makes my 4th. Not sure how many cc's because my Doctor doesn't seem to share. Anyway, in the morning I am very tight...which I am used to but I am having a lot of trouble with foods that I have had an easy time with in the past. Such as, egg salad, steamed moist chicken, and even yogurt. Is this normal? Can it be that fickle? I am getting hungry alot but the stuck episodes really hurt and slow me down..... ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GRATEFUL!!!!
beckyp 8 Posted October 17, 2012 I just had this happen last week. I was banded in January and I am down 67lbs with 13 more to go. I have not had to have very many fills. I got on on July 3rd and did not have another one until last week. I did ok for a couple of days. I really couldn't eat much either. By Sunday I was having a lot of pain. I went back yesterday and he took some out. He said it was just too tight. I feel much better today but am still on liquids. I thought I had something stuck but he said it was just my esophugus was irritated due to the band being too tight. Hope this helps
ElleG 394 Posted October 17, 2012 You might need some Fluid taken out, ask your doc how much fluid is there. Your body, your band, your business. 3 mkb805, Tsign36 and zinhaa reacted to this
