newbeginning2012 2 Posted October 17, 2012 Hi all, I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow and will be ok'd to eat REAL food! I'm so excited! I'm nervous because my band won't actually be filled until I need it. I don't want to make a bad food choice. Any suggestions on food to start out with? jen_1381 446 Posted October 18, 2012 My best advice is to try things one at a time. Don't take a bite of Protein, then veggies, then fruit/carbs. If something doesn't sit right you may not know which it was. There are a few things that I learned the hard way I can't tolerate anymore. It's kind of a trial-and-error type situation. As tempting as it was to eat so many things (since we can finally eat!!) I stuck to the basics for a while - Protein, fruit, and veggies - until I got used to eating real food with the band. 1 DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! reacted to this

Good luck. 1 DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! reacted to this
