Vera 7 Posted March 2, 2004 A Congratulations to Robin(CoffeeWench) on her Inamed nationwide advertising campaign that will include television commercials, magazine ads and billboards. And to Sue also, I'm not sure if she was involved? Please fill us in on the details.
GeezerSue 7 Posted March 2, 2004 Nah, I wasn't involved. Robin was just in my neighborhood.
Alexandra 55 Posted March 2, 2004 I just saw that announcement, too. I think it's the coolest!! We see testimonials all the time for products that sound too good to be true, and I always wonder how much the shiller was paid to say the lines. But this time we'll be able to believe the Wench when she speaks, because she's been sharing her story generously the whole way along. CoffeeWench, our hero and inspiration! :P
marsha 0 Posted March 2, 2004 I hope she'll let us know where to find the ads! I can't wait to see them! Marsha
Vera 7 Posted April 8, 2004 I saw the commercial on another forum and believe its ok to post it here. Elma and Dr. Grossbard are in it also. Congrataulations Robin you look great and your kids are adorable. To view it, you need to download Quicktime and the latest version MP4. I hope this link works. http://www.caudill4production.com/inamedlapband.html
mrwindt 12 Posted April 8, 2004 Congratulations on being part of a wonderful ad. It's about time that the band was featured. Robin, congratulations! You look great. Mary
donali 57 Posted April 8, 2004 Congrats, Robin!!! I love the ad - here's the direct link: LapBand Commercial I'm so glad Inamed is finally doing some advertising! I just sent out a long letter to a bunch of my friends telling them a little about my journey and the links to the commercial and Inamed's site. Hopefully it will help someone else one day, too. I would never tell someone they should get the band - I'd feel terrible if they were one of the few that had complications or couldn't tolerate it, but I have no problems putting the info out there for them to make their own decisions! And I'll always be a "witness" for my band. I love it!!
Lioness81970 0 Posted April 9, 2004 DOnali - I tried the link but it didn't work. Did anyone have luck with it or is it just my computer?
donali 57 Posted April 9, 2004 I just tested it and it worked fine for me. You should already have Quicktime installed on your computer, and someone else said also the newest MP4? Don't know about that... Good luck!
DeLarla 22 Posted September 19, 2005 I think it's time for an appearance from the Wench. Where is she?
