roxa 15 Posted November 8, 2012 If Im not mistaken you shouldnt be drinking Ensure for ur Protein.< /p> Example..if ur Protein Drink has 20gm of protein then ur calories shouldnt be more than 200.. The calories shouldnt be more than 10x ur protein. I think so too. Ensure can be fattening for people trying to lose weight. That is what they gave my mom to sustain her when she could no longer eat. They use it a lot in nursing homes too. Atkins shakes are good. Maybe you should switch to them
roxa 15 Posted November 8, 2012 It does help, I am surprised but so thankful. I have found that a cup of Swanson's vegetable broth really helps a lot! Especially at bed time when I am hungry. I have a cup of that and it helps me sleep. Who would ever believe that I would think vegetable broth is good! LOL 1 soreadynow reacted to this

this sucks 557 Posted November 8, 2012 HELP EPIC STUCK AND IT WANT GO AWAY what do i do ??? In my surgeons words, it can only do one of two things. Either you force it through by drinking or else you pb it up. Also, try moving your left arm up and down in sort of a "chicken dance" kind of movement. Sounds and looks weird, but it helps. Walk around too. Good luck. If you cannot get it to go through, call your doctor. They may have to empty your band to let it pass.

Banderina 69 Posted November 8, 2012 I read sip pineapple juice..
MiniMi 1,468 Posted November 8, 2012 pineapple juice helps because of the enzymes in pineapple and the acid of course. Walking around while moving arms and staying calm helps.

corona518 87 Posted November 10, 2012 Had my first post-op fill this morning - had 3ccs in at surgery and now another 2ccs. Needle hurt but I'm so happy to hopefully not be starving every 2 hours anymore!

ShellyBellyIowa 78 Posted November 10, 2012 I am two weeks post op and the scale has stopped moving:( I am only eating 900 calories a day and I just started walking again on the treadmill a couple of days ago. Did anyone else stop losing and then have it start again. It is discouraging when I feel like I am trying so hard and not seeing the payoff. I am still down 22 pounds which is great but ready to see more:) 1 Ms. Blue reacted to this

Then the weight loss picked up and ive been losing a few pounds a week---I lost 5.5 lbs last week. I've really been getting into a groove with the band and watching my quantities. Feel really good. Still cant notice any weight loss yet First fill 11/28 2 destynee1 and ShellyBellyIowa reacted to this
