RachelC 15 Posted October 17, 2012 Lucky you girlie! Enjoy it! I start mushies week 3. My post-surg diet does not seem as strict as some others. Hospital stay - Clear liquids Week 1 - full liquids Week 2 - pureed Week 3 - mushies Week 4 - soft Does that seem pretty cohesive with everyone elses? I'm kinda petrified to move into pureeds on Friday!

lilbrigy 46 Posted October 17, 2012 yea i think most DR are a little different but follow the same kinda guidelines,, my dr said 2 weeks liquid 2 weeks mushy then move onto solids,, but i think u just need to keep in contact with them about how hungry you are and how your feeling, liquids and mushy foods are just cuz the swelling is going down and to get us used the the feeling of our bands, good luck for your op,, it really isnt as scary as we think plus make surr you have all your liquids n stuff ready for when you get home and a heat pack
