wildrose1966 396 Posted October 13, 2012 You only had your surgery on Sept 24th and your poor body has been thru hell and back. Post op you were in starvation mode and I would imaged that your metabolism came to a screaching halt as you were not feeding it well, as you graduate to new foods and start eating gain, you have to give yourself time to get use to it. You are still gassy and not where you need to be in terms of nutrition and exercise. I lost 10lbs 1week post op, because I was probably eating 250 calories a day. The next week I gained 2lbs, I am almost 4 weeks post and eating more normal foods and exercising and think I am over the hump, am down 4lbs in the last 2 weeks. I am really trying not to get on the scale often.............about every 10 days, and in my heart I know I am eating right and exercising and everything else should take care of itself. One day at a time my friend, it will all work out. 2 Rita1576 and Kass90 reacted to this
Kass90 2 Posted October 13, 2012 So it's normal if I gain weight , I don't want to so im thinking of taking some diet pills so I don't put on weight ? Or I should drink green tea ??
wildrose1966 396 Posted October 13, 2012 Alot of people gain during their 6 weeks healing..........stay away from the diet pills. Eat according to your dr's instructions, walk and exercise and things will fall into place. Stay away from Diet Pills. 2 ufscrapper and kyrasgrandma reacted to this
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted October 13, 2012 You should be putting the scale away entirely. The first 4-6 weeks post surgery are for healing, not losing. Losing will come once you're healed. For now, just focus on staying hydrated and healing up. 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and ufscrapper reacted to this
