I'm almost 5yr post op - recently my stomach area is uncomfortable. I'm paranoid my bands slipped. what are symptoms of slippage? Should my doctor be making me get upper body scans to check these sort of things?

Im nt sure what a slip feels like...thank goodness....BUT if you have had the band for 5 yrs and this is a new feeling...Id be calling the dr and getting it checked...asap !...Good Luck and I hope its nothing..keep us posted

Usually a slip involves not being able to eat/drink without PB. But, since you have had it for 5 years, adn this is a new experience for you, do call you dr ASAP! Best wishes. Karen
