phili 1 Posted April 5, 2006 Hi everyone!!! well i have been banded!! wow talk about pain though,it is now 5 days after the operation and im still so sore!! i tried to come to work today but instead of working i have been resting, its good that they understand here!! i spoke to my doctor today because i am worried that i am still hurting and didnt think id still hurt this much!i i stayed in hospital for 2 nights and if i could stay more i would for the injections!! other than the pain i am doing well i guess!! im drinking and eating but not much food, it doesnt take long before i feel full!! did anyone else have pains for a while after the operation? im struggling to keep on the computer now!! i will go now so i can lay back down and i will be on here again real soon!! thanks to everyone who has wished me well, i really appreciated that, where is everyone from by the way? i am from melbourne australia and was banded by Dr. Nottle!!! Anwyn 0 Posted April 5, 2006 Hi Phili! Congrats on your band. Pain 5 days out is very normal. It will get better every day, but I had some soreness (especially in the port area) for two weeks following surgery. You're definitely over the worst of it now though.
