NeenBand 7 Posted March 29, 2006 Hi all, I purchased a bunch of yogurt cups before surgery. I'm not able to eat them right now and the are going to expire. Can I freeze them or will it make the texture funky?
Alexra 0 Posted March 29, 2006 I freeze yogurt for my kids to eat as a frozen halthy alternative to ice cream. It is always ok in the frozen state, although i have never thawed it back to normal, I would think it would be ok.. try freezing one tonight and thaw it tomorrow and let me know how it turns out. sarahv 0 Posted March 30, 2006 I also freeze yogurt for my kids. They think GoGurt is supposed to be frozen once you get it home - they don't like it 'squishy' = ) However, I have also frozen trix yogurt and it does change the consistency. My kids will still eat it - but not like they would before it was frozen...... I guess it depends on what type of yogurt it is and how hungry you get once you move on to the mushies = ))
piercedqt78 658 Posted April 5, 2006 I put it in ice trays and then added it to smoothies in place of ice, worked really well~Mandy
