lcrampton 0 Posted March 29, 2006 To those of you at least 2 weeks out from surgery, I have one work for you, CURVES! It's fun, and easy. If your exercising, you WILL have more energy. Lori
scooter1 0 Posted March 29, 2006 Hi Lori- I have been to Curves before and liked it alot. I am only 10 days post-op and couldn't do Curves if I wanted to. I keep waiting to wake up one day and actually feel normal again.
lcrampton 0 Posted March 29, 2006 You will. Although, my sister and I both went back to work 4 days after surgery. You won't start to feel normal until you are able to eat regular food again. You should be able to do curves in a week or so. yOu may feel much better in another week. Just remember how good it's GOING to feel after you loose the weight. Focus on that. PhotoNut 7 Posted March 29, 2006 Hi JoAnne! Welcome to Bandland! Be sure to rest all you can. Although its a fairly minimally invasive surgery, it's still surgery and there's quite a bit of healing that needs to be done which will sap your energy. Be sure to get in your 60 grams of Protein and take your Vitamins and drink, rather.. sip, lots of Water.
JoAnneCL1 0 Posted March 29, 2006 How long are you suppose to stay off? My doctor did not say one way or the other. My surgery had a delay and I got it around 9:00 PM on Friday. One gentleman that had the surgery done the same time I did was going back to work the day his plane got home. Our doctor was one to say if you feel like it do it if it hurts then don't. Did your doctor give you a time frame?
