Shawnie914 5 Posted May 4, 2013 I'm three days post-op today and had the same feelings. I was in so much pain (gas and belching) this morning that I was questioning my decision. After some gas-x, peppermint tea, an ice pack followed by a heat pack, I am finally feeling ok. I also used some Tylenol rapid blast (suggested by my Dr) and the liquid phenergan. Once I could stand up without doubling over or dry heaving I've just been walking as much as I can stand. I know it's only going to get better from here. 1 Weeviegurl reacted to this

Even it is only 5 min at a time. I walked around the dining room table for a week. It really helps get rid of the gas. 1 Weeviegurl reacted to this
