Bailey Jan 17 Posted October 7, 2012 I have been in Clear liquids for 2 days since my fill. I know my dr is super conservative but wondering if other dr's allow Protein drinks not just Isopure on the third day. I know I should follow my drs orders but I feel so dizzy, hungry and have no energy. Any suggestions?
kittyforet 50 Posted October 7, 2012 All doctors are different but mine requires one day liquids then one day soft foods, then back to normal on day 3. Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk

honk 780 Posted October 7, 2012 My doctor says full liquids so Protein Shakes are allowed.
alex77709 29 Posted October 7, 2012 My dr only requires the first two meals after a fill to be liquid, then the next two meals are mushies and so on...so I'm sure having a Protein Shake at this point is fine.
Bailey Jan 17 Posted October 8, 2012 Thanks everyone, I survived with Protein Shakes and felt better knowing that other dr's think they are safe to drink. I did remember to take my Vitamins and was happy that I was actually chewing something...lol

LouisianaLiLi 231 Posted October 9, 2012 Mine does not require liquids after a fill. I do soft foods for my own "safety". I'm glad you were able to feel better with Protein Shakes.< /p>
Rojasanoll 920 Posted October 9, 2012 My doctor told me liquids only for 24 hours and soft foods next 24 hours. I had no problem with a Protein Shake.< /p>
