Well that's good u can admit u messed up and are gonna restart. You're not the first one to screw up and you won't be the last :)

We are changing years and years of bad habits and were gonna stumble along the way. It's hard, I know. But possible as u can see from the success stories

First, please fill out your profile so we can better answer your questions.

I'm assuming you mean you're 2 weeks post op. I'm also assuming you mean you cheated on your post op diet for the last 3 days. If both are true, you need to realize that by cheating you're only putting yourself at risk. The post op diet is to allow your stomach time to heal. Not only has it had a band placed around it but that band was also sewn to it. You have very fresh sutures trying to heal and it's imperative you stick to your post op diet so you don't risk injuring yourself or putting your band in jeopardy.

Stick to your post op diet. It's only a couple weeks and by not doing so is very risky.

In case your surgeon didn't explain to you why it's such a bad idea to cheat on your post-op diet, or you forgot the gist of it, I suggest that you read this article:

http://www.lapbandtalk.com/page/index.html/_/healthy-living/whats-so-bad-about-cheating-on-the-post-op-r78

Also, it's time to face up to the fact that your band is not going to do all the work for you. I'm all for prayer, but it's going to take more than prayer for you to resist temptation and stick to the program.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
