Anaprox/Naproxin/NSAID's once a month for cramps?

Recommended Posts

I know we're not supposed to take these. I regularly medicate, but cramps with my period just kill me. Usually one anaprox fixes it, rarely I have to take 2 (not together, but the cramps last longer than the 4 hours it takes for the pill to wear off).

Any thoughts about whether 12-14x/year only will have an adverse effect?

It's going to depend on your doctor, but I took Aleve for a couple of weeks for tendonitis. I think the biggest fear with NSAIDS is having them sit in the pouch and weakening that area before they pass through. Any time I take an NSAID (not often, don't get me wrong), I chug a big ol' bottle of Water.< /p>
