Had my endoscopy yesterday. Everything went well. He said I had a tiny hiatal hernia, but otherwise I am good to go. My question - does having a small hiatal hernia prevent me from having the band???

I'm Heidi - remember me? I had my UGI done on Thursday, and I have mild reflux. I don't know if the hiatal hernia will prevent you from being banded. I hope not. Let me know how it is going for you.

I have my first Opti-fast class tonight, and my official surgery date is April 24th. It looks like we are going to have really close dates! So, every Tuesday I have to go in for Opti-fast. Do you have a date for starting Opti-fast?

I am glad that I have someone close who is kind of going through this with me at the same time. I didn't go to the pre-surgery group last night because I am driving up there today. Two days in a row is really tough. I'm still trying to figure out schedules with my kids. Did you go to the meeting last night?

Hey Heidi! I didn't get to go to the meeting last night because I was drugged from the Versed. I wouldn't have been good. Congrats on the Optifast. I start mine on April 10th. Maybe we can go on Tuesday's together?? I'll give you a call. Take care!
