Kami172000 16 Posted September 30, 2012 I think I'm going to put a cup in my purse. Bc i can only eye ball so much b4 i question if its about a cup. Although it takea me an hour to eat a cup of certain things at least i know that I'm eating my cup! Does anyone else do this?
elcee 3,341 Posted September 30, 2012 Although some people recommend using a cup it is not essential that you eat that quantity. Most nutritionists and Drs advise you to stop eating after 20min. So if it is taking you an hour to eat then you are probably eating more than you need to. 2 Maddysgram and Sojourner reacted to this
Maddysgram 6,159 Posted September 30, 2012 Like elcee, after 20 min you're done. According to my Dr. 1 Sojourner reacted to this
Sojourner 2,446 Posted September 30, 2012 It is accurate, as per research, that those who measure their portions for accuracy are more successful with their weight loss rates. The cup is more accurate than the eye...and historically our "eyes are bigger than our stomachs". What elcee shared is also accurate; your meal is over after 20 minutes. What is left on your plate after 20 minutes becomes "leftovers". 1 Maddysgram reacted to this

Summerrain 520 Posted October 1, 2012 As others have stated stop at 20 minutes, this is the time you should hit satiety.
