Shoulder Blade / Back Pain

Recommended Posts

Hi - I got banded on 9/11 and for the past week or so have had on and off pain in my left back : shoulder blade area. It comes & goes and I can't quite isolate what could be causing it. Has anyone ever experienced this? It's a dull ache. Any thoughts? Am calling my dr on Monday. Thx.

Chances are it is gas. I was banded 9/17 and had gas pains in my left shoulderblade, mid back. Was okay sitting and sleeping, walking - ouch.

Thx for your input. I was getting worried that it was something more serious. I will still call the dr though, just to be sure. It's a bit disconcerting!

Yes! It was the pits. The heating pad helped me a lot. Hang in there! :)

I was banded on 9/10 and I also had horrible and intense pains in my shoulder, neck and chest. It's from the gas and from inflating your stomach for the surgery. It will go away- mine did last about a week or so. Use Gas x and a heating pad and you will see that it will pass.
