NWgirl 574 Posted September 29, 2012 I was told to take a Centrum chewable and a Calcium chew. They do make bariatric Vitamins specifically for band patients (I used opurity for awhile). I decided to try centrum after I ran out of the bariatric and my labs are still good. I also take Biotin, Vitamin d, and Iron (the last two are due to being low in labs and Dr prescribing them). If you have any concerns about nutritional requirements, please address them with your medical staff because they will know what's best for you. 1 Maddysgram reacted to this

wallflower 188 Posted September 29, 2012 I take a Bariatric Multivitamin twice a day, and also a calcium citrate + Vitamin d tab twice a day. I take other things like Vitamin A,c, and Iron due to anemia and nutritional defiencies prior to surgery. Everyone is different and ur doc will monitor ur labs. Due to our limited eating its not uncommon for people to require some other meds/vitamins. To me that's a small price to pay to get my life back
