Last night my hubby, who was a sailor, was looking over my incisions and said that my doctor had put my port in the wrong place. Considering my husband does not have a background in surgery or bariatrics this puzzled me. I asked him why he thought my port was in the wrong place and he pointed out that it was put in the starboard side. So my port is not on port, but starboard. I really need to get him a hobby......

I like your husband... I too am a sailor and mind in perfect now that I think about it. It's just port of center.
