Morganjm 5 Posted September 29, 2012 I plan on going back on weight watchers when I get back to solid foods. I lost 40lbs on it in 4 months before my surgery. I did the online. My dietican said I could go back on it after I start solid foods. It really works.
josiec111 7 Posted September 29, 2012 Has anyone done weight watchers online since you have had the band? How did that work out for you? I did the WW online during my six month pre-op phase. So so easy! Now I'm armed with the necessary information for a successful post-op ~ if I can keep my willpower! 1 DesertRose80 reacted to this
DesertRose80 137 Posted September 29, 2012 Im doing Lindora when i go to solids. It high protein/low carb...not like adkins. They encourage natural sugars and Portion Control even with Protein. I've done WW before and Im one of those people who does better when things are more strict. For me....just for me...WW had too much grey area and i felt like i could cheat easier. Angelizz10 76 Posted September 30, 2012 A diet is a diet, is a diet! They ALL work, and none of them work. They lead to yo-yo merry go round. Just for myself, I will never diet again. I got the band because I didn't want to ever go on a so-called Diet, again. That's how I got fat in the first place. The band is a tool to help Portion Control. You can eat anything within reason. Reason is the magic part, not another crazy diet that limits whatever the fad of the day is. Stay on low carb for awhile and risk the high chances you end up with gall stones. Follow your doctors advice and stop the craziness of dieting the rest of your life.
