FLORIDAYS 3,040 Posted September 26, 2012 I have thought about it several times...but I am too chicken to inflict pain on myself for no valid reason...LOL I shiver at the thought of being 90 years old with a tatoo I cannot imagine putting anything on my skin I wouldnt get tired of. Shoot... I change my couch every 5-8 yrs because I get tired of looking at it. I would have to find a spot that isnt sagging and that would be tough! But more power to you... any reward is a good one!! And if that makes you happy...go for it! Good luck on your journey.
losingit919 13 Posted September 26, 2012 I got one when I reached mine. I got a tattoo that maneuvered around my port to cover my incision scars. 2 kyrasgrandma and HeatherMarie reacted to this
HeatherMarie 4 Posted September 26, 2012 Absolutely! You deserve it just for being on this journey. Depending on location the pain really isn't that bad. Good Luck and let us know what you get.

jen_1381 446 Posted September 26, 2012 I have tattoos - 7 of them. They all mean something very special to me, they each have their own story. My last one I got right after surgery when I was feeling like I finally had my life together and could start living for me. It's a butterfly with flowers around it and the quote (From Kelly Rae Roberts) "She could hardly believe all that was waiting when she finally opened her heart". I don't worry about what they will look like in 40 years; I can look back and think about the memories they hold. 3 knewland, wallflower and LouisianaLiLi reacted to this
