jarchuleta 20 Posted September 24, 2012 I have the large book, but does anyone have a small cheat sheet of what nutrition values we are to have daily after lap band? I know Protein should be about 64 g, but what is all the rest, sodium, vutamins, fat, carbs, etc...There has to be a simplified chart somewhere that I can print, easy to read and post daily? Thoughts? Some say 60g of Protein, some say 80g. Every surgeon and nutritionist seems to have their own ideas what works best. I would highly suggest making an appointment with a nutritionist that deals with bariatric patients. They can help you establish eating guidelines to fit your needs and lifestyle. 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and donna12 reacted to this
wildrose1966 396 Posted September 24, 2012 I think everyone is different, mine is 70g of Protein and within 900-1200 calories. I think it was just obvious that, that ment low fat/carb, good food choices. My nutritionist said good Protein choices tend to be good nutritional choices. Worry about good protein first and the calories and all the rest should fall into place. A chat with a nutritionist would be good for you.
