I'm taking lortab/tylenol for pain. I've taking lortab and tylenol before so I don't think its the meds. And if so it would be all over.

I was banded on 9/11 and they just remove some of the steri-strips on Friday. The skin is totally red / raised and itchy so was wondering if it was allergic reaction to the glue on the tape. I can see the red under the other remaining tape. Has anyone experienced this?

I had a reaction to the tape after a few days. Took off the steri-strips and it went away!

Please call a Pharmacist today and see your doctor tomorrow...a rash is a sign of an allergy to medication. My sister nearly died from a reaction to Dilantin. It started with a rash and ended in chemicals burns from the inside out and ultimately renal failure. I had a rash from hydrocodone after another surgery. As soon as I told the pharmacist that I had a rash he told me to stop taking it immediately.

Did you use a heating pad after surgery? I got a heat rash that took awhile to go away.
