prettysmart1913 48 Posted September 19, 2012 I am a little nervous because I get my first fill today. According to my doctor he puts 2-3 ccs in when he does the surgery and will do 2-3 the first fill. The goal is to start at 5ccs as most of his patients get restriction between 6-8 ccs. I hear it is not painful so I am not worried about that. I am just paranoid of being stuck. I know I know...chew chew and small bites. The truth is everyone is different so even if I do that something may not agree with my band (rice, bread, etc.)
wannabethin2012 12 Posted September 19, 2012 Getting something is scary the first time but then you will know what to expect. I find its easier just to excuse myself to the bathroom and purge than to sit at the table in pain waiting for the food to go down. Also I make it a habit to remember the foods that get stuck not to eat them again or be very careful when eating them
prettysmart1913 48 Posted September 20, 2012 It ended up being a breeze. It was pain free!
