electronicart 120 Posted September 18, 2012 I have an appointment today at the fill center. I have a 10cc band that is a little over half full. I know they are going to ask me if I need a fill. Now that my band is over half full, I get pretty good restriction. I have to be careful of what I eat. I don't get stuck, I don't throw up. (yay) I'm losing right at a pound a week, very slow but steady. So, I really don't know if I need a fill. My band is tight in the morning. In the afternoon and evening I can eat most solid foods with no problem. Only dense meat and bread give me problems. I guess my fear is that the band will get too tight, maybe I'm just worrying for nothing. Please let me know what you guys with experience think. I am looking for my sweet spot but am not sure if I'm there. Thanks, Jackie
kll724 3,055 Posted September 18, 2012 If you are happy, then you shouldn't get a l. But that is just me! others will advise you differently.Karen 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted September 18, 2012 You're losing and can still eat, so that's very good. If I were in your shoes, I don't think I'd get one. It doesn't sound like you need it. 1 texas-bandette reacted to this
lalaj 108 Posted September 19, 2012 I'm in the same situation. I cancelled my fill and rescheduled for November. I feel if I'm any tighter I won't be able to eat anything and I would hate to eat. Some say as you lose weight your band loosens up, so that's why I rescheduled. If you feel you are in your zone then it's ok not to go. There's always the option to get a fill when you feel you need one. Best of luck to you and congrats on everything Lala
