mgilbert0429 9 Posted September 18, 2012 Ugh! I keep getting them, a million times a day! Anyone else experience this? I'm a week post op, and the last few days they just keep coming!
Patriceaa 16 Posted September 18, 2012 I still get them wayyyy more than I'd like, not everyday, but probably at least 4 times per week. It is an annoying side affect. I am not sure how to not get them anymore. Hopefully someone here can give some good advice that I can listen too also.
☠carolinagirl☠ 18,721 Posted September 18, 2012 yes, i get them (i call them baby hiccups) its a sign (to me) that i am full and its time for me to stop eating (also a sign to slow down eating or the bite was too big) dont know if this helped
Alerker 10 Posted September 18, 2012 I get them also it is usually a sigh that I should stop eatting. Although they can be annoying think in the positive. These hiccups are helping us to eat less and lose weight.
DeAna N 229 Posted September 18, 2012 I only get them when I eat too fast so as time goes by I am learning to slow down and I am getting them much less

mistycal 81 Posted April 12, 2016 I'm about 6 weeks out and I usually get about 3-4 hiccups and I know I'm done eating, I kind of like the signal, usually right before my 1/3 cup is eaten...
jadeylemonadey 2 Posted May 4, 2016 I'm 8 days post-op and yep I get them a lot! I've recognised it's when I've slightly overdone it and am full but my god it's painful when my insides are still so tender! Sent from my SM-G900F using the BariatricPal App Try eating more slowly, take smaller bites, and pre-measure your portions. Hiccups are one of the ways I know I have overeaten.
