FallonB 102 Posted October 24, 2012 Steffy' date=' I was banded yesterday..yes it hurts to get up and down..still cant bend..and lots of gas discomfort/pain..I looked into the belly band and some use them but I also read that binding can cause infection..so im just using a pillow and that helps..hang in there!!! PB2 is powdered peanuts..[/quote'] Ya'lls incisions should still be covered in glue or strips or something, right? I wouldn't worry about that. I used a binder then tried to stop using it in the first week and I was miserable without it. It definitely helps. a1990 55 Posted October 25, 2012 I might require an intervention sometime soon. Lmao. I'm addicted to Pinning on Pinterest! We're moving in less than a month and I've got tons of projects planned to start the second we're unpacked. I've already started cooking all kinds of stuff that I've pinned! Good thing about it though' date=' is that I'm not really interested in eating it... Just making it for the boyfriend and daughter (Who could eat lard for a week and not gain an ounce. Definitely didn't get that from me!) satisfies me greatly. =) Anyone in Houston? I need a garage saling buddy... I need some "junk" drawers and side tables for a project. Lol. (I've always loved turning trash to treasure!) journeygirl28 18 Posted October 25, 2012 Thanks Fallon! I didn't get a breathing thing.. but the deep breaths I'll do that! didn't you get a hiatal hernia repair also? Didn't even know I had one but it makes sense because i'd have heartburn all the time and chest pains and was like ...geez what the hell is this! Hi destynee1. Believe or not yawning does the same thing as the Incentive Spirometer (breathing thing). It applies positive pressure to the lung so your alveoli pop open to increase your oxygenation. But instead of telling you to yawn we'll usually tell you to cough and deep breath which also accomplishes similar results. 1 destynee1 reacted to this
