Two weeks before surgery! Today is the first day of my protein/liquid diet that's required before surgery. I'm drinking an Opti-fast chocolate Protein shake' date=' and it's soooo NOT yummy!!! Its amazing how everyone seems to have different prerequisites prior to the same surgery... makes me wonder if my two week clear liquid diet prior to surgery is absolutely necessary, lol, because I sure could do without it, lol.

Ive tried the other shakes and while chocolates not that tasty, it still beats the others. Just my opnion.

Got a call and it looks like my date is Oct 23rd! Freaking out!! 2week diet starts today..1000 calorie almost no fat diet daily!I have a ton of nervous energy right now!

Just got a follow-up call from the surgery center to see how yesterday was. Then they told me the time of my surgery for Friday changed from 10am to 7am. Wow, think I just had my first feeling of anxiousness about the surgery.

Hello! I like About Time for Protein Shake, good taste, dissolves well in Water. Has more isolate Protein than Unjury and costs a lot less too. Online or through eBay is where I purchase mine. Did lots of research before my surgery last Friday. Now if I can just stop all the annoying burping....Ha!

And I was glad because you can't eat nothing from the night before at midnight so going in at 7 was a blessing.
