Annoying Right Side Pain, Anyone Else Have This?

I was banded about 2 weeks ago and I am into the mushy/soft stage. I have been plagued with a chronic pain on my right side. It goes from just under my sternum over to my ribs. I cannot tell what it is, thought is might be gas, but it will not go away. Does anyone else have this pain? I have noticed it after eating. Maybe I am eating too fast or too much? I would appreciate any thoughts that you might want to share. Thank you.

Hello there! I was banded eleven days ago, and I had a similar pain on my right side wrapping around my ribcage. I also had some back pain as well right across my mid back. My port is on my right side, so I assumed the pain was due to whatever muscle manipulation the surgeon had to do to implant the port as I had some bruising on the right side as well. The pain is finally starting to subside, but there is certainly still some discomfort. I found that ice packs helped initially, although I haven't used them in a while. Best of luck.
