My Hair!

Recommended Posts

So today is like the 1st day I straighteked my hair n I noticed the front if my hair is thinned out n looks shorter.. I'm Loosin My Hair! N the Vitamins I got are way too big to swallow n when I smash them, I get sick. I need to buy chewables, but do they work n also, what is a good Shampoo to buy? Help me n my hair! Lol...

My dr recommends the Centrum complete adult chewables. I'm not sure about Shampoo though.

The Centrum chewables are good. I also use the Bariatric Advantage chewable Calcium. You can order them online with free shipping if you have it sent automatically.

If the Biotin alone doesn't help, tell your surgeon. Mine put me on a Vitamin regimen and it is working. I tried the Nioxin Shampoo, but it just dried out my hair so I am back on Suave which I have used for 10 years.

The big bottles of flintstones from Sam's club, adults only have to chew one. I can tolerate them a whole lot better than adult chewables.< /p>

I am eating one a day tummies n liquid fish oil... hair was starting but I have been on Wen for seven days. Not kidding, it is awesome, silk healthier than ever and no fallout. I was a skeptic but it is fantastic. Go to www.wenhaircare.com. Make sure you get the tea tree as it tingles n stimulates scalp. Starter kit is good deal, but you really only need conditioning shampoo...cheapest place amazon..good luck

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
