KristinsMommy 145 Posted September 16, 2012 I'm on the mushy stage now and I was just measuring food to see exactly what a cup of food looks like Portion wise and I'm surprised that it actually looks like a lot. Idk maybe it just me . I mean I know pre band I could eat waaaay more than a cup of food so I thought a cup of food should look small to me. Is it just me or does anyone else think a cup of food looks like a lot more than it sounds like it would like. I hope I'm making sense sorry if I'm rambling. lol Starting weight: 264.5 Current weight 252.6 Goal weight

justathing2me 146 Posted September 16, 2012 The first time I went out to eat after being banded, I couldn't believe how much food was on my plate! Before being banded I wouldn't even have noticed, but after eating from a small plate, I was like Wow! It took me 3 days to eat it! mybella 35 Posted September 16, 2012 I feel the same way when I look at 1 cup of food. If I am having Protein, I weigh the Protein andit i eat 6oz then i put 2oz in a cup or weigh 2 oz depending on what it is. A steak of 5 oz even looks big.
